Some excellent taste in this thread here.

I am a massive fan of FSOL, Orbital, Autchre, Royksopp, Boards of Canada and countless others.

My reason for posting here really though is because I also dabble a bit with production, and yesterday I finished my first track of 2012 and would be interested in any views on it.

Given some of the previous mentioned artists, I reckon you'll be a tough crowd, but here goes nothing -

(can I ask a favour though, if you don't have your PC set up with speakers, please use headphones as laptop speakers are wank)

Or if that one's a bit too light:

The new Burial e.p. is decent. Will check your list out at some point, groove shark doesn't work on an iPad.

I'm afraid it'll be a bit too MOR for you :) It's 95% Q music and 5% mixmag.

Speaking of Burial though, you might enjoy the 2012 electronic preview on this weeks all songs considered ....

Quite like that Burial shit but it's just like proto jungle / d n b people were doing years ago (20+ years ago as well).Only not as good imo. Same with the stuff Dr. G posted. It's decent but a bit dull and akin to Bukem's old stuff. And he was overrated tbh.

Burial in a club >>>>>>>>> Burial any other way.

Street Halo from last year is phenomenal, Dubstep bass line on the first 3 of 4 then some mad bleep for the 4th, Garage percussion, House synths. It's a grower.

Parky has asked for my top 20 albums, will hoy them in here later.
