BREAKING NEWS: Owen out for friendly

Jul 20 2007

By Lee Ryder, Evening Chronicle

Newcastle United striker Michael Owen was today ruled out of tomorrow’s trip to Carlisle.

Owen was hurt in a shooting exercise in training and retired with a thigh injury.

The former Real Madrid player is now expected back for the upcoming friendly with Juventus.

Soldiers were hung in the war for shooting themselves in the leg. Yet another sign of Owen's lack of commitment tbh!

Yep, this injury means he hates us, that's all it can be

He's taken a knock. Fucking hell lads. They're friendlies and he's fresh back from a major injury and making sure he can maintain full fitness. I don't give a shit if he's missing for friendlies. I give a shit that he's 100% at the beginning of the season.
