Sunderland manager Roy Keane has urged his players to "go easy on referees" ahead of the home game with Liverpool. "That might sound harsh coming from me and I certainly know that I made mistakes," he added. (Various)

 

Keane predicted that the story would be accompanied by a photo of his infamous rant at referee Andy D'Urso during his Manchester United days. The papers duly obliged.

Load of bollocks IMO

 

Absolutely just journalists making up stories. The quality of reporting in this country (can't comment on many others) is disgraceful imho.

 

Yeah, England seem to take the cake in terms of journalism or lack of.

 

We are slowly catching up but ours is nowhere near English papers in terms of absolute crap they sprout!
