Ireland's Robbie Keane has added extra spice to Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Czech Republic by suggesting that opposition goalkeeper Petr Cech is not the best in the world.

The Irish Republic's most prolific goalscorer says that although Cech may be one of the best, the title of top goalkeeper belongs to Shay Given.

"Cech is one of the best goalkeepers in the world," said Keane. "But we are quite lucky in that we have the best in Shay Given.

"Cech is different class but Shay Given is for me one of the best goalkeepers I have ever seen."

Given had kept three consecutive clean sheets for his country before conceding two against Slovakia at the weekend and will have to be in good form again on Wednesday, if Ireland are to make up ground in Group D.
