SAM Allardyce will hand a late fitness test to Mark Viduka (hamstring) for Monday's trip to Pride Park while Spanish full-back Jose Enrique also has a slight hamstring problem.

 

Emre is a doubt after picking up a knock during Turkey's 3-0 win over Hungary last Wednesday.

 

While Joey Barton (foot), Damien Duff (ankle), Stephen Carr (hamstring), Celestine Babayaro (hamstring) and Peter Ramage (knee) remain long-term injury casualties.

 

The United gaffer confirmed that new boys Habib Beye and Abdoulaye Faye could both feature against the Rams having been working with the club's backroom staff to build their fitness since joining the Magpies on deadline day.

 

Derby forward Craig Fagan begins his four-match suspension after being found guilty of violent conduct during the 6-0 defeat at Liverpool.

 

Teenage star Giles Barnes (foot) misses out and Darren Moore (knee) is also a major doubt.

 

Kenny Miller (hamstring) sat out of Scotland's Euro Qualifier victories over Lithuania and France, but could make his Rams bow against the Geordies.

 

Eddie Lewis (groin) is also set to feature.

Aye, its a scrappy game with just the one chance, fell to Rozenhal but fluffed it after good work from Owen.

 

Nobody dominating at all.
