Sure money is a motivator, but it should not be the only reason to join a club, this doesn't paint Luque in any good light at all, and shows how stupid Shepherd really was. Makes you wonder whether we actually even talked to Luque about anything other than money, plus the fact he turned us down once and we went back is a bit daft too. You could swap Luque's name for Beye there tbh. He's already said he came for the money and that he turned us down at the beginning of the summer before we went back in for him. Noelie 103 Posted September 24, 2007 Share Posted September 24, 2007 Luque never did a lot when he was the pitch, Saw a bit of the Ajax match at the weekend, Luque came on about 10 minutes from the end and luqued to be his scintillating do nothing self and obviously hasn't got a starting berth with the tulip growers.
