No it doesn't at all because 'Crewe' is nothing to do with hair is it? Whereas 'Barnet' IS a word used to describe a haircut. Crew Cut? Yep, I'm with alex and khay on this one. A 'crew cut' is on old fashioned (nowadays) hairstyle... 'Barnet' is just cockney-rhyming slang for a haircut and doesn't refer to fashion.
