More bullsh*t from the Sun

PAUL KEMSLEY is ready to launch a bid for Tottenham with Newcastle chairman Mike Ashley.

Multi-millionaire property developer Kemsley quit as Spurs vice-chairman this week after being blamed for the Juande Ramos fiasco.

Old friends Ashley and Kemsley are currently working together on a project to build a casino in Las Vegas.

And while billionaire Ashley bought a controlling interest in Toon in June, he is a lifelong Tottenham fan.

It was Kemsley who set up the ill-fated meeting between Spurs and Seville boss Ramos in August.

And he finally resigned this week after clashing with chairman Daniel Levy over the fall-out from that not-so-secret rendezvous.

Meanwhile, Spurs boss Martin Jol has told Levy: “You should give me a profit-sharing bonus, not a golden handshake.”

The under-fire Dutchman got some rare praise for helping the club post £28million profits last year.

He said: “I don’t need a pat on the back as long as I get a nice bonus to buy my family some presents.”

Not to believe this shite but is there a rule on owning more than one club?

Not 100% sure on the actual rules but Porn King Sullivan is a shareholder of Wist Ham as well as part owner of Burberry City. On a similar vein weren't there also grumblings about Monkey's Heid being a shareholder of the mackems when he was Leeds manager but nothing happened?

If he's a lifelong spurs fan he's hardly going to want to be seen wearing a toon shirt at matches. :o

Don't you wear a Reading top at Reading matches though?

And a NUFC shirt at NUFC ones as I'm a follower of both teams. Nice try. <_<

So your argument doesn't really work does it?

No he owns the club in it's entirety. So either it is complete bollocks or just an old article they have re issued.

Not sure what the ruling is but there are restrictions on having controlling influences on more than one club.

Did't Maxwell try to buy Oxford United when he owned Derby County and was told to do one? I think one of his sons (who ended up copping it for the Mirror Group pensions carry on) ended up buying Oxford instead.
