TRANSFER RUMOURS

 

New Tottenham manager Juande Ramos wants to raid his former club Sevilla to take ex-Spurs striker Fredi Kanoute back to White Hart Lane and he is also keen to bring £23m-rated defender Daniel Alves with him. (News of the World)

Extending Owens` contract with no clauses should be a priority along with signing a creative midfielder, wouldnt mind Arteta

 

Crouch would be a good signing if we didnt pay silly money for him given Vidukas injury record thus far. We need a big striker that isnt Ameobi

Would make sense us going for Crouch given our style of play now. If thats what he's insistant on doing, then we might as well get the right players for the job. Would be the end of Shola if we did like.

Crouch is poor in the air though, so wouldn't really work pumping the ball high to him.

 

Although I don't think Crouch is as bad as some make out, I really don't think we should be paying the money Liverpool will want for him.

 

I'd rather go out and spend £15m on Berbatov or Anelka.

Exactly. The two midgets Martins and Owen are better in the air and stronger on the ball than Crouch. Berbatov would be great, if only because it would cheer Sima up! :D
