As long as he can defend thats all that matters IMO.

Olsson is a great player. I would be very sad to see him leave NEC. He's a tall left-footed defender with a great mentality. One of the best defenders in Holland IMO.

 

I think he fits perfectly in the Premiership. Hopefully Newcastle will pay good money for him.

Bolton, Newcastle approach NEC Nijmegan for Olsson

NEC Nijmegan defender Jonas Olsson has attracted formal approaches from two Premiership clubs.

 

Algemeen Dagblad says Newcastle United and Bolton Wanderers have made formal contact with NEC for the Sweden international, who admits: "I have never made it a secret that I want to play in England.

 

"During the winter break I may leave. It's the best chance for NEC to make money from my transfer."
