How come whenever ANYTHING happens with NUFC, that annoying runt Jim White is on his shift.

Should've been done for a public order offence when we signed Owen. Almost dropped to his fucking knees and gave Souness a blowjob

I'm not keen on going backwards. After he lost the momentum at the toon he's been proved incapable in every job he's done, but as my mind was racing through the possibilities immediately after I heard the news, my mind turned to Keegan and I thought of the noise on his first game at St James' and the hair on my neck stood on end.

Not saying he's the one, but it would be like Hulk Hogan coming back to the WWF.

The whole thing is a bit like a failing relationship, I thought earlier. Like, it had the potential to be amazing, and it started out really well, then you start to wonder whether you made the right decision; you had all these expectations of how it would be, and initially you forgive all the little problems that start creeping in. Things get worse, and you're both trying really hard, but for whatever reason it just won't work. You want to give it a chance to get back on track, and you know that the potential is still there. You don't really want to end it because it's not TERRIBLE and it's nice to have someone half-decent even if it's not working right now.

BUT THEN (and this is hopefully what has happened) someone else comes along who seems like a vast improvement; you have to acknowledge the relationship just isn't working and do the honorable thing for both parties, and agree a mutual break-up. If the new person hadn't come along, maybe you could have limped on until the summer, maybe things would have worked out okay in the end. But the chance at something a lot better came along and you just had to take it.

Of course, the new relationship that seemed so good could also go tits-up.
