I agree with what the journo says about the Robson era, but to suggest that the current situation is Shearer's fault is a load of bollocks. If Allardyce had been successful and not sent out awful teams every week, he would still be in a job, it's as simple as that. It's nothing to do with Shearer. He used to have a flat in Jesmond that he bought on the QT where him and all his croonies would go after a night out with various slappers of the North-East.
