I've been recommend them by one of the lads, and I've only heard bits, but I'm impressed of what I've heard so far. When they went their separate ways, one of the members, Holger Czukay, did a song called Persian Love, which is staggeringly good. Holger's stuff is very good. The ambient bits especially.
