Zayette had been due to complete a £2,650,000 to the Merseyside club, but look set to lose out on the Guinea full back, to Premiership rivals Newcastle United. A source close to the Guinean schemer said, "he took one look at Goodison Park and he looked at me saying this ground is another Bradford waiting to happen".
