Nah, I definitely think there should be an apostrophe in there somewhere.

 

Why does it?

Apostophes denote ownership, so does that mean St James owns the park.

Looking at it another way, is it The Emirates Stadium or The Emirates' Stadium?

always thought the apostrophe after the "s" is what made the "ses" become pronounced.

 

So I reckon:

 

Spelling : Pronounced

St James : St James

St James' : St Jame-ses

St James's : St Jame-ses-ses
