Some fucker got in through my back door and nicked my laptop and her mobile, I got home this morning after a nightshift and found the backdoor ajar, checked that nothing stealable had been taken, everything seemed in place, the PS3, the Wii, iPod camcorder etc. got up at about 12pm to watch the match and found my laptop had gone and her phone.

Still can't believe a thief would take the time to disconnect a laptop from a monitor cable and USB hub, unplug the powersupply rather than fill his pockets with the easy stuff.

Anyhow the police have been round and dusted for prints, luckily the porn drive wasn't taken, but I shit myself when the CSI dude came round in case he had that little ultraviolet torch thing that shows up human protene, my office chair would have looked like Blackpool illumiations.

Quick and easy. 2 years ago my sis was at uni, alone in her flat about 10pm and 2 lads walked straight through the front door. She actually thought they had come in the wrong door by accident and laughed but they came straight in and took her laptop. She grabbed hold of one of them and the tart bit her hand.

The dna is on record but they still havent caught the creeps

i know its stating the obvious - but if youve used that laptop to do internet banking, buy something from play.com or even use hotmail or facebook - change ALL your passwords now.

I must admit when I saw the thread title I thought that Wacky's lass had registered for a second. As last night there I was, in Gills chippy on Chilly Road and there she is standing outside asking for some battered sausage to go in with her fish. As you can imagine it was grease city.

Am sorry about that Jimbo, I hope they get caught and you can go all Reservoir Dogs on them. These people that live in the NW though, Blackburn, Preston, Liverpool, Manchester, Wigan....it's what I'd expect to be honest.
