Real Madrid hope to capitalise on the current turmoil at Arsenal by swooping for manager Arsene Wenger in the summer. (Sunday Express)

That bodes massively badly for the entire team, not just Owen, if it's true.

It's a non-story imo anyway. If someone were to offer Owen 60k a week, for example, on a 3 year deal, that's going to more attractive 100k a week (or whatever) for the last 6 months of his contract. Especially if it's 1) From a top side looking for player who isn't cup-tied for Europe and 2) He doesn't think he'll get a better deal here in the summer.
