Well its that time of year again and this year I couldnt give a shit and presonally hope we get drawn against one of the big four away and go out gracefully. Not kicking and screaming against some Championship or lower team. We have far bigger things to worry about than this and frankly just as the bottom club at Christmas rarely stays up theres often been a relegated team do well in this competition, that to me is no coincidence.

So heres the numbers to look out for:

Toon: 25

37 Makems

62 AFC Bournemouth or Blyth Spartans, what kind of draw would that be? a proper local derby

1 Arsenal

12 Chelsea

21 Liverpool

23 Manchester United

The Blyth match would be surreal. The vast majority of Blyth fans are probably Newcastle fans first, so would be an interesting away section that day.

J69 would drop his Mars bar.

I'm hoping for number 35.

Don't know who it is but got a good feeling that it won't have the 250K a hard draw.

Southampton.

Not really that arsed. We've got fuck all chance of winning it anyway. The league is always the priority anyway but never more so than this season.

Hull are probably thinking exactly the same thing.

It's got Wigan in the Carling Cup from when Souness was in charge written all over it.

I might go - its ages since I went to an FA cup game on 3rd round day - I think Yeading was the last one - and I was already looking forward to going to Hull in the league - I'd expect a good turnout.

Would be interesting if both teams tried to lose deliberately.
