The thread on Sir Bobby got me thinking- seems the Twats outweigh the Heroes here at NUFC.

Who would you like to see getting the rotten tomato treatment?

I'll exclude the obvious- Fat Mike, Fat freddy and Dodgy Dougie.

Mine would be Gordon Lee. I was 6yrs old and idolised Supermac when this no-mark wank stain strolled in and sold him!

I'd still kick him in the pods if i met him. ( assuming he's still alive?)

Souness without a doubt

hated him before he arrived hated him more after

Same here, never knew him as a player since I'm to young but as a manager, especially at blackburn (since im from burnley) I hated him, when he came to us I was gutted but one of my rovers supporting mates said to me "you are in trouble, not just now but for a long time"

hes right so far

Keyring Dyer, Jermaine Jenas and Graeme Souness.

i must admit to having a sly chuckle when Dire broke his leg at West ham.

I was joking to a lad in here that i'd laugh if he broke it again before the season started

sure enough a week later =D

i always edit the football manager database to make him have a long career ending injury (6-8year broken leg and the like)

RBS-repetetive bling syndrome

Ahead of his time, and too good for Newcastle at the time, is what he was.

It caused a 6yr old huff of major proportions.i wouldn't go to the game for oooh, 3 weeks.

Perhaps this has clouded my judgement, but i still wouldn't put him up there in my'favourite toon gaffers' list :D

little nippy sort of right sided midfield player. Played outside right in the 1965 promotion season, which made me 10, not 9].

Replaced more or less after we won promotion, sold to Birmingham I think.

He died in 1987. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trevor_Hockey .......... I knew he had sadly died, but didn't realise it was so long ago.

My favourite player used to be Aaron Hughes and guess what? I was old enough to know better :(

I must've been about 14 or 15 but I thought he was fantastic

I remember buying The Mag in the newsagents in the old underground Eldon Square bus station. The cover had Hughes on with the headline "£18.5m for Ferdinand- What price Aaron Hughes?" (Rio had just signed for Leeds). By coincidence, minutes later Hughes just happened to be walking straight towards be in Bainbridges. I sort of nodded, and said "Alright?" the way you do when you half recognise someone but you can't remember where from.

Should've got him to sign it really
