The US is the benchmark for the global film industry. I don't see the problem myself. :D

HP don't like it if I get a film list up and he hasn't seen some of em. <_<

I just watched The Evil Dead for the first time, I wouldn't go about telling people it's the best film of 2009. :D

What year are the golden globes panel voting for then? <_<

:D

Only 2 in fact.

I don't mind that, it's the fact you think you're above the existing best off 2008 thread....

....which on further inspection doesn't exist :icon_lol:

As you were. :icon_lol:

You seen Hunger or Gommorah? Those are 2 I'm looking forward to.

I think I've only been to the flicks once this year. I'm going with...

CJ7

Burn After Reading

The Counterfeiters

There Will Be Blood

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

For now.

Gomorrah came out here but it was in Italian with German subtitles, if it wasn't one I was looking forward to I would have risked it. Will have it

pretty soon and by all accounts worth watching it properly. Hunger might be a bit tedious (Bobby Sands?).

Haven't seen 3 in your list. <_<

Would also give a special mention to Wall E and Iron man both very enjoyable.

Better than Wall E though. :icon_lol:

I've got Gommorah on avi with english .srt files if anyone wants. Came out here last July i think.

Yes please.

But how do we do it?

I'll send you some RS links tonight. The .srt files arent synchronised very well but if you know what you're doing (?) you can adjust them.
