Hello Newcastle!

I need the expertise of all you Geordies out there.

I am working on a project to raise awareness about safe alcohol consumption.

How you can help?

I need to know the slang word s you use to say that you’re going out to drink.

For example in Birmingham we may say “I’m going to get wasted”.

I would be most grateful if of any help, and remember this is for a good cause.

Thank you in advance!

You can say "am away on the peeve" as well or "am fuckin well peeved up the neet like"

Was just going to say that. Wonder if it comes from 'pivo' btw? Mortal is just used up here as well.
