Collo, definitely not showing any kind of defensive ability there. Loses his man and then when Cisse has his first shot blocked by Harper, Collo checks his run instead of following the ball through to goal. Unfortunately this gives Cisse vital few yards to tuck away the rebound.

Is anyone watchign this thread just for updates or has everyone got something to watch/listen on?

Unbearable having to watch Shola out there. Still continues to always be caught off guard by everything. Rare times he does space for himself it takes him so long to get a shot off there's 2 defenders on him by then. All this whilst Carroll is winning almost all his battles

Lovenkrands please who apparently has some pace on him.

This is what I find strange. Shola who has for years been criticised and has only a bit part striker, now has another 3 year deal while only being hours away from a move last summer. He hasnt done too badly when put in as a 3 man strike force, but as a target man up top in a 2, I dont think he works. He's best as a hole player dropping balls off to the likes of Martins.

It really is simple stuff...If Jonas continues to do what he has been doing all game and get to the byline, and then passes it along the face of the goal then all we need is a simple tap in to the back of the net. Hopefully JFK can get something out of them at half time...

All of the attacking play is coming down the left side. Either Jokin has found this to be a weaker area where we can attack through or Duff has just been ignored I dont know but theres hardly anything going down the right. As an attacking option, Jonas & Enrique have done well the last 20-25 minutes.

It's a fucking disgrace that that wanker Ameobi has been given the chance to serve up shit like this for another 3 years. This lot are fucking shit and yet they can come here and make us look daft. Embarrassing.

.And the long balls from the back are painful. Carroll is getting to his fair share, but we're not retaining possession on many of them. Butt and Nolan might as well not be there when we have the ball, as they're being played over or around constantly. No doubt they are the tactics of Kinnear with Shola and Carroll up front.

Tell Taylor and Coloccini to stop playing these bloody long balls. Pathetic.

if there is not a huge tactical change at half time...then the board, owner, players, manager and mackem supporters deserve everything that the disgruntled fans throw at them....excuse the pun. (intent)
