Didn't I read somewhere before that Francis was quite ill? To be fair to him, there are worse managers.

and we've hired most of them

I might be up for this actually. Let's see just how much self-loathing we can actually muster.

Not sure I could hate what this lot are doing more, but maybe with Wise a the helm I can scale new heights of fury.

Continually posting pictures doesn't lend any gravitas to your posts btw. We know what they look like you dolt

Shame you dont know what a well balanced discussion looks like. :yahoo:

Also using the term we.

You've made the exact same point several times in about 4 different threads now though re: Wise.

And 'we' is an unacceptable collective pronoun is it? Stop even trying to be clever man. I meant 'we' as in everyone on here, obviously.

So it wouln't be a big stretch for you to copy and paste your well rounded response here, would it?

You speak for a lot of people. You are indeed a legend. :yahoo:

There's a difference between making the obvious point people know what Wise and Poyet looks like and claiming to speak for everyone on here. Nice try again though.

I know this has been discussed in other topics this man really needs a topic of his own to thrash it out.

He is the most powerful person in our club that knows anything about football.

Before and since he arrived he has been slagged to oblivion, mainly for been one of those irritating players that you love to hate.

However he is out there trying to recruit the cream of the world football talent for our club. More over, in the position we are now in, he could be just the person to take over the reins and get us to safety.

Ex England Pro

Succesful Chelsea Manager

Managed a lower league team to the cup final

Has an average success ration of 47% with leeds

Realistically whoever we can drag in for the next 13 games will be reporting to him anyway, so why not just let him get on with it. I would rather have someone like him with balls and a fierce desire to succeed on the sideline than Hughton or B Robson or Venables.

Come on Dennis, Save our season

(And yes Alex I know, smb or wum  )

So Alex, who do you want on the sidelines for the next 13 games out of the realistic list of touted candidates. Try.

I already said. The only reason for Wise getting it is because he's effectively managing the team anyway and this way he can't hide behind someone else to take the fall for him. That doesn't mean I want him to do it though. Can you imagine him commanding the respect of the players? Especially given they probably hold him responsible for the strife at the club (heard from several good separate sources that the players can't believe the way things are being run - not that you need to be remotely ITK to gather that).

I want someone like Hoddle or even Venables on a short term basis as they are both good coaches and available and that is what we need since they don't have long and have to work with what we've got.

I by no means like Dennis Wise, i like the rest of us struggle to understand what he does, why he is the person doing it and why he seemingly had more power than a proven manager of whom everybody was happy with (Keegan for those wondering if i meant JFK).

However, i do believe the bloke is just doing the job he has been employed to do and it doesnt seem things will be changing any time soon. If i was to be honest i do not see any future fr Kinnear here and i would much prefer Wise to take over thank Houghton!! I think if we are stuck with the '5 year plan' then the best thing for me would be to get a decent head coach, poyet maybe, who would work under the system.

FFS God help us, not that Wise would be a bad choice, but it would add to the entertainment on match days.

imagine the shit he would get, not good, would be bad for morale, poisoned dwarf.

only marginally better thab the shit we 've already got.

It would however be funny to see Wise try and come out with the bollocks JFK does, at least Joe can just make out hes senile.

Our season's beyond saving tbh. Avoiding relegation doesn't count as having any sort of season really.

Oh yes it FKN does. Avoiding relegation is equivalent to winning the champions league this season. Do you want to spen next August looking forward to such horrors as;

Swansea City

Bristol City

Queens Park Rangers

Burnley

Ipswich Town

Sheffield Wednesday

Crystal Palace

Coventry City

Blackpool

Derby County

Plymouth Argyle

Nottingham Forest

Doncaster Rovers

Norwich City

Barnsley

Weekend in Blackpool?...it's almost worth going down for man

seriously, don't know what any other old farts think but the old 2nd division really wasn't that bad......apart from getting twatted at Southend on new years day that is

I disagree, I think he has been trying to expand his role from the moment he arrived and that is why he has gone from scouting for youth to seemingly signing supposed first-teamers.

I do agree however that if the system ain't gonna change that we should make the best of it and at the moment I'd certainly rather give Poyet a chance than leave it to Hughton & Co.

Gotta love the bolded bit, for a person with such big balls it's funny he still hasn't shown up at St James Park...

And I find it funny that a guy who goes on about people's grammer can't even tell the difference on the keyboard between the letters that make up manager and captain.

I'm glad I am away, because if Dennis Fucking Wise took the manager's job at the club I love I doubt very much I would go to the matches, win, lose or draw. I stated the other day that I wouldn't hesitate at accepting Roy Keane as manager - yes, that's how low I like Dennis Wise.

Anyway, I doubt Wise would take the job as he knows he's got a real cushy number and if he took the manager's job at NUFC and we did get relegated he would carry the can and get the sack. The last thing Dennis Wise wants is to jeapordise his little boy's seat on the gravy train.

As Park Life put it

"First we appoint KK and now possibly Wise as DOF. He's a good manager but didn't really see him as a DOF must admit".

Couldnt really have said it better myself.

i don't think he's a good manager at all..

leeds' results went downhill when poyet left for spurs and little dennis was left on his own.

hope the tedious cunt is bludgeoned to death.

From small acorns mighy trees grow!

James Lawton -- The Independant

As the world-renowned Guus Hiddink yesterday settled into his duties as Chelsea's fourth manager in 18 months – and up in Newcastle there was a groundswell of support for a dream ticket of Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet.

Amazing what a bit of posting can do :D

Poyet is a bit shit now, look at his fiasco at Spurs recently.
