Ashley to try to halt season ticket sale decline...

I'm stunned at how out of touch these slimeballs are and saying things like 'you've seen worse' or 'you can't expect it overnight' is fucking insulting especially as we've got worse since these nonces took over.

:D There's something about that word I find amusing, in the context of what these pricks are about. They've been called everything under the sun except Peter Files. Until now. Class :)

Can't read the first two pages at work as they are victim of the porn filter for some reason so apologies of already said:

I've cancelled my direct debit and the only thing that will get me back is a sale so I can't see a sales pitch from the people responsible for the reasons I'm not bothering making any difference.

As I've said if we do go down I'll go to a few more away games next season instead.

I know its different for me as the travel/expense make the decision easier to some extent than those who live locally - I have mates who are just as pissed off as me who won't cancel as going to the match is easier and more part of a normal weekend socialising.

I have also cancelled my direct debit, and yes I will miss the socialising that we have when we go to the match, but for a very long time the bit in the middle of matchdays (the 90 minutes) has really been pissing me off. I will more than likely go into town have a few beers and then go home happy, something that has been difficult to achieve lately.

For Ashley and Llambias to feed us more crap just amazes me, I do not believe!

I do not think there is any conspiracy to deliberately f+*k everything up, I've never believed that, why would he want to fail. He is a businessman and wealthy at that, so why would he plan to fail. No it is just plain incompetence, a bunch of meddlers and muddlers that have not got a clue.

All of this so-called communication, TBF they can't do right for doing wrong, is so patronizing and so many lies and avoiding answering the real issues. He has now got wind that a number of DDR's have bounced and there is a groundswell of opinion that a number might not renew next year, so here he comes again, and more shit with discounts etc.

I am not one who wants to go back in time and scream that KK is the answer or that we should be making big name signings, what I would expect is little more ambition than JFK and his team of no-hopers in Hughton and co. But, no we settle for third or fourth rate, but what I have done is voted with my dosh, Ashley's regime is getting no more.

How true this £1 million is as a bonus for JFK, I do not know, but what I do know is I am not going to make any contribution to it.

Yes I am one of thos who has seen worse, but do I want it to return, of course not, we have challenged in the top 4 etc, I do not want to see us fighting relegation season after season, I might as well not watch as it just makes me so pissed off. I've been going to SJP for more than 50 years, through the good times and the bad times, and there is certainly no incentive for me to want to carry on under this regime. It is not about how much, it is about value for money.

I want to SEE OUR CLUB MOVING FORWARD WITH AMBITION and SUCCESS and I might return, BUT THIS REGIME STRUGGLES TO PROVIDE THAT, so I fear I'll be missing for some time!

So Mr Ashley and Llambias, ambition and success are the only incentives that I need to renew my ST!

Don't you just need to contact your bank / do it online?

I am with Lloyds and when I tried to cancel them on line it said this type of debit could not be cancelled online and that I should contact the branch. After contacting the branch they eventually agreed that they had managed to cancel the DDR. For some reason it did take some doing, watch out cos they have also changed the company name that is collecting the DDR's, so you might cancel one and another is still in place, ensure that the bank gives you a reference and confirmation.

Mind you I am expecting a letter soon to ask for the money because I had a contract, they can go forth and multiply.

So can I. I paid upfront with my credit card. As for the contract, I appreciate people's concerns but would they dare take fans to court over it? I think it would be one giant PR gaffe too far tbh.

I'm still pleased with the deal I got paying on plastic 3 years in advance.

Barclaycard do sports tickets interest free for the life of the balance so £350 a season until 2011 is a steal I think.

£18 a game is cheap even for the Championship.

I sent a letter on the 4th after speaking to them on the 31st Jan stating my intentions and also that I realised I needed to pay this season's proportion of the discount. I asked them to ring me for my credit card details which they haven't done.

I cancelled the direct debit they'd setup on the 9th.

Because of the changing of fixtures and the hassle of booking trains at reasonable prices since GNER took over I was all set to give my ticket up but never cancelled as if we go down whilst I don't want to be lining that bastard Ashleys pockets I feel we need to support the club more than ever.
