Sometimes watching stuff again is comforting though for some reason. Got a couple of seasons of Curb to catch up on too. I saw him at the Manchester Arena a decade ago. Don't know if it was just the size of the venue (way too big), but he was fucking rancid, just going through the motions for a huge pay check. And George is fucking clearly based on Larry Sanders, he's actually said so. I personally love both shows, mainly for the neurotic tendencies of George and Larry. I can get why people prefer one over the other, but to dismiss the other as "shite" or worse seems odd to me. I mean yeah, I'm not saying IMDB is definitive, how can it be when these things are always subjective. But at the same time, it's a fairly good guide to quality.
