I'll give that show a watch. Found out about it this morning.

This week's Alien: Earth was the best episode yet.

Didn't realise it was set before Alien.

Just finished season 8 of Gold Rush - White water. (Now cancelled).

Been a good watch seeing the mad and dangerous shit they get upto, but lack of big gold and  Dustin Hurt being such a cock sounded the death knoll.

Currently watching Gold Rush 15 which seems as good as ever.

Sky were showing the first season pf Peacemaker in the run-up to showing the second and I caught a couple of minutes of a couple of episodes which caught my eye so I've now watched the first 5 episodes and it's mental (in a good way). It's stupid and funny but a bit dark as well. Brainless fun.

Just finished Dopesick with Michael Keaton. Best thing I've watched for ages. Compelling viewing despite the bleak subject matter (Oxycontin epidemic in the US)

I watched 'Painkiller' on Netflix which covered the same subject. Brilliantly done but as you say, incredibly bleak matter.

Demon Copperhead is the best book I read last year (a modern rework of David Copperfield on against the backdrop of the opioid epidemic). Highly recommend

I'm 4 episodes into the 3rd series of Foundation

It's worth watching for Lee Pace alone.

It's fairly densely plotted but it's just so well done.

I have to binge the series though, I wouldn't have a clue about the plot if I watched it week to week

Last episode for me tomorrow when it’s released.

On the face of it The Traitors is basically an extended series of Deal or No Deal. Most of the time they’re debating who the traitors are they have no clue but it is actually compelling viewing.

The Irish version is brilliant. Probably only available to you lot on the fire stick though.

If you want to see my mate Spud turn into Begbie, watch Coldwater.

ITV black comedy, it's alright. Got Egg in it too if anyone's old enough to remember "This Life".

The Ballad of Wallis Island.

Very British, eccentric, gorgeous scenery, funny and melancholic. Tim Key at his awkward best. Loved it.

Just watched this. Very good. Key is great in it.

Just binged Dexter Resurrection.

Personally think it’s the best season of Dexter ever with a brilliant cast. Peter Drinkage, Una Thurman etc

Who else is in it Bard Pitt, Reese Writherspoon, Tom Thanks?

Project Blue Book

Chronicling the true, top-secret U.S. Air Force investigations into UFO-related phenomena in the 1950s and '60s known as Project Blue Book. Each episode draws from the actual files, blending UFO theories with authentic historical events from one of the most mysterious eras in United States history.

Hijack - Netflix, Idris Elba producer/star, so you think should be ok or at least entertaining. WRONG - utter implausible/ludicrous claptrap, watched to the end (well with one eye, as main focus was on the golf) just to see how the nonsense ended.

New series of Slow Horses has dropped. Anyone not watch any of this yet, I fully recommend. Gary Oldman is genius as Jackson Lamb.
