Alex 41768
Watched an episode of Arena on BBC4 last night about Kendo Nagasaki and the fascination the artist Peter Blake and writer Paul Yates had with his wrestling persona. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0370w28 it’s a reminder of how fucking odd that 70s 80s wrestling world was. There’s also footage of a hilariously bad ‘world title bout’ he had with Giant Haystacks near the end of their careers in the early 90s.
