No one knew anything about it at all. Basically someone flicked on Sky News and it had came out Sir John Hall had sold his stake in the club to some lad called Mike Ashley.

 

No warning, no speculation. It just happened.

I think you'll be getting more sympathy from other team's fans when they realise just how shit your pre-season is going. It may take a while, but I don't think you're as unpopular as say, Leeds. I admit I may have joined in the smirking before I joined this board, but I just dispair for you guys now. I hope you can get a decent new owner soon, otherwise you may end up the next Bradford or Oldham at this rate.
