Unfortunately I can see us putting Shola up on his own with Nolan behind him, as horrific as that prospect sounds. Lets give someone else the chances be it ranger carrol or Xisco. He's played exclusively under Hughton and Kinnear who both think humping the ball forward is the best option (he was injured when Shearer was brought in IIRC) and a lot of strikers struggle in that situation, especially one straight out of Spain who is pretty much the straw that broke the camels back. Imagine how fucked his head must be? When i've seen him he hasn't done anything to tell me he's the worst striker in the world ever (which is what some of our fans seem to think), just that he's hamstrung by our tendancy to use hoof and hope football.
