To be honest I would drive Duff up to London for £4m because the quality we could get in the champ on a massively reduced wage is a far better option. He isn't that player any more though, is he? How many seasons was that ago? He's played about 30 PL games in midfield for Newcastle and been consistently shit in just about all of them. Nothing against the lad but since his last injury he doesn't seem to have the engine he once had and hasn't got the game to make up for that in other ways. That's in the Premier League, obviously.
