We need a new PC for in the house but aint got much money at present, any recommendations as to where is the best place to get one online? Dont need anything really fancy as long (3200+, DVDRW, 17"TFT, 160GB that kind of thing).

cheers boys I knew I could rely on you;)

I will be looking online later when the kids are in bed but would appreciate you giving me a headstart like!

Did a quick search for custom built pc newcastle and came up with this:

PC 4-U

Don't know anything about them or if thats the sort of thing you're after.

EDIT: having had a better look I don't think they will be cheap.

Try www.idealcomputing.co.uk (edinburgh based - good for pre-built systems)

or www.microdirect.co.uk (manchester based - among the cheapest around for components, where the bits for my pc came from. I don't know what there pre built systems are like though)

bollocks I did as well :D

well Ive always kinda supported Denver ( since they had their young exciting inconsistent rookie QB John Elway a few years ago!) and they werent playing this weekend I will survive I guess.

Ive decided to go for a shite but cheap sempron PC which my missus has got from Tesco's with her staff discount thing. I wanted better but Im sure this will be better than the P3 500 Ive got now at least! I may even be able to play the latest version of football managet now!
