Sonatine 9945 Posted September 28, 2009 Share Posted September 28, 2009 KEV RAGE OVER £25M 'LIE' Sunday September 27,2009 By John Richardson KEVIN KEEGAN is poised to win a substantial payout from his bitter legal confrontation with Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley – but nothing like the £25million which has been bandied about. The former Toon boss is incensed at suggestions that he has been demanding a sensational £25m, a figure which Ashley sources were claiming would wreck a takeover and plunge the club into administration. A close Keegan aide told Sunday Express Sport last night: “That is just malicious nonsense. This figure has obviously been leaked to try to place Kevin in a bad light.” Keegan asked the Premier League arbitration panel to award him £8m – the amount outstanding on the three-year deal he was handed by Ashley.
