Henning Wehn is on Fighting Talk on fivelive saturday mornings every few weeks and is fucking funny. He was responsible for probably the funniest line on the show ever a few months back... It relates to his grand-father and the invasion of Poland.

It's typical BBC3 fodder Andrew.

I'm a supporter of the licence fee but this is absolute garbage. Could've kept 6 Music and Asian Network going a bit longer with whatever was wasted on that.

England's Worst Ever Football Team

The country's poorest national football team is chosen, using archive footage and expert opinion from contributors including Neil Ruddock and Mark Lawrenson. Among the criteria used are blunders on the pitch, bad haircuts and other misdemeanours

BBC3 Tonight 10:00pm-11:30pm

Might be worth watching

It wasn't ;)

Favoured 11s anyone?

going to do what I did last euro cup with my dad, we're not betting people but just stick a fiver each on two bets for winner and top scorer though at the moment im stumped for who Im going for, injuries all over the place

---------------James-----------

Johnson--King-----Ferdinand--Cole

Lennon--Gerrard--Lampard---Young

----------Rooney--Defoe----------

For the group stages anyway, against better teams then I would play a defensive CM, if we have one fit

why James king and Defoe? Over say, the other keepers, terry and crouch?

This one for me as well. King won't string enough games together and didn't look comfortable against Mexica at all.

Well Defoe has scored a little bit more than crouch this year butI would probably play an extra midfielder and leave Rooney up top on his own. If I was English that is

Green is woefully average imo & loves the odd clanger to boot.

For me:

--------------------HART

----------JOHNSON-JT-RIO-COLE

-------------------BARRY

LENNON-LAMPARD-GERRARD-JOHNSON

------------------ROONEY

Crouch can be a deadly sub.

Not sure it'll happen but I like that team.

Likewise. Depends if Capello is keen to play Rooney as the lone striker I guess. I know it was under a different manager but I can't help but think back to the QF in 2006 - Rooney up front on his own against Portugal left him totally isolated and frustrated resulting in him taking that early bath.

hes been doing it this season and hes matured since then

with the support he'll be getting from that front 4 of midfielders I think it would work

There's been a bit of a wankfest over Adam Johnson lately, not so long ago he wasn't exactly pulling up trees for Boro (poor side/management I know) in the championship whilst a tub of lard like Kevin Nolan was banging them in.

Don't get me wrong he has looked very good recently and offers something a bit different but if fit I still reckon Joe Cole's a much better option at the moment with Johnson on the bench.

He looked class for them in the Championship iyam. Said so at the time as well (also said he was a better Championship player than FKN). So there.

James is the most experienced and I think that matters in a keeper

Terry has had some shocking games and king has been outstanding

I just think defoe offers more quality than crouch
