More who will want to work with them, not exactly the sort of chairman you'd choose

Was about to say the same. Can't imagine too many wanting to work for the dildo salesmen.

Souey?

Mark Hughes was in the crowd at Southampton on Saturday apparently, Pardew's geting the push for not making the playoffs from a 10 point disadvantage to everyother team in the league. My mates old man works at the stadium and says the new chairman is the worst person he's met in his life.....among other deeply unpopular moves theyve put a parking meter in the staff car park :(

Bilic will need like the money and will be a good cheap option......can see the dildo sellers going down the same road as Ashley in the levels of shiteness.

Grant seems the most likely as he wont stay at Portsmouth and seems to not mind working under difficult/idiot owners.

Grant sounds like he enjoys female company. Maybe the porn barons could tempt him with a few "extras" thrown in?

What a disgusting and despicable pair those two cunts of chairmen are - Zola may not have been a good manager but the constant undermining and inflammatory statements they directed at somebody who appears to be a decent person aswell as a footballing legend was nothing short of disgraceful.

I would assume the light treatment they received from the media despite the constant shite they spoke and comedy coats they wore was something to do with the geography of the club.

theres a disproportionally large amount of football journos from the east end according to a chapter in this book...the chapter is written by one of them...somebody Dillon? They do get a huge amount of good press...makes you fuckin sick when you see how the fans treated Glenn Roeder when we beat them.

Aye the "tumour boy" chant was only surpassed by the one about Beckhams baby in terms of crossing the line in my opinion. But, again, conveniently forgotten about by all the barra boy journo's , yet, the Mido chant nearly made the fuckin BBC news

I think he did enough to be given a season without the turmoil off the pitch. Very classy man, great player and was given a very very difficult job.

On a side note, Would it worth trying to poach Steve Clarke? He's a fantastic coach imo

To be fair I think most of the bullshit comes from Sullivan, can't remember much of David Gold's statements being particularly undermining/inflammatory etc

GIANFRANCO ZOLA AXED AND WEST HAM WON'T PAY HIM £3.5M COMPENSATION

SHOCKED Gianfranco Zola was left fuming last night after being sacked for breach of contract by West Ham’s controversial owners.

Zola was axed at a meeting with vice-chairman Karren Brady at the Boleyn Ground yesterday which lasted mere minutes.

And Starsport understands the Hammers, who just avoided relegation this season, intend to pay him NONE of the £3.5m compensation he believes he is owed.

Co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold are claiming Zola breached his contract with what they insist was a public attack on the board.

They are unhappy with comments he made after it was announced his whole squad, except Scott Parker, was for sale.

Zola said at the time: “If I was Mark Noble or Robert Green or Valon Behrami, I wouldn’t be very pleased to hear that. It is not pleasant.”

It is a staggering turn of events considering Sullivan has spent the last few weeks criticising Zola and his team in public.

The Hammers chairman apologised to supporters for a “shambolic” and “pathetic” performance against Wolves in March.

And he described the performance of Zola and his side this season as “below expectations” before Sunday’s draw with Manchester City.

The Italian will now take his battle for compensation all the way to the courts in what promises to become a massive legal row.

Zola said last night: “I am extremely disappointed to be leaving West Ham United. Over recent weeks, I have been the subject of various adverse comments from within the club, which have been widely reported in the media.

“Despite what has been a very difficult period for me, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at West Ham.

“I would like to sincerely thank the players and my staff for their continued support, hard work and commitment.

“The termination process of my contract is now in the hands of the League Managers’ Association.”

The Hammers released a statement yesterday, saying: “West Ham United confirm that they have terminated the contract of Gianfranco Zola.

“The Board of Directors would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him well for the future.

“The club will now be focusing its efforts on seeking a replacement.”

West Ham are now searching for their sixth manager in seven years, with an appointment expected within three weeks.

Sullivan said: “We will study people’s past records to find a manager with a proven track record.”

Avram Grant, Mark Hughes and Slaven Bilic are all contenders for the job.

But so far the response has been lukewarm.

Zola’s No.2 Steve Clarke has been asked to stay on as assistant to the new man, who has been promised funds for up to six new signings.

Can't say i'm surprised at anything those tossers try to pull, twats one and all :(

Are the British press and pundits waxing lyrical about lack of stability, not giving the manager enough time, too many transfers of players, too much money spent etc etc? I seem to recall they were very good at handing out advice regarding us.....

Anyone who works with the dildo twins needs their head sorting out. They signed Benni McCarthy and others behind Zola's back*, slag off players and staff in public and dress like aging rejects from a C&C Music factory video.

*=Blackburn fans are happy we got rid of fat Benni. He had the skill but absolutely no application or interest. The move was aking to you hiring Souness as manager.
