Easy to say in hindsight I suppose but he was taking Ferdinand, who's been out most of the season, he's took King who is always injured and Upson's got a poor record with injuries too. Planning on taking all 3 was daft. Especially when the back-up plan is a lad who's never played for England (Dawson). Strange decisions all-round. Part of the problem was a lot of the alternatives Lescott, Jagielka, Brown etc have been injured for a large part of the season too and King had finally put a decent run of games in so I can see why he still chose him.
