We'll speak at the end of the season kidder :)

Maybe as well, someone will have a valid reason by that point why Scousers are more deserving of a criminal status.

After reading this thread I was going to find an Everton supporters forum and start talking about Everton, however, I realised I've got very little interest in them and couldn't see the point.

Winning the title with an average crowd of 31,000?

Coming 7th the year before in front of an average 19,000?

In your glory days?

I used to have no bother with Everton and have had some good craic with some of your lads in the past, but some of your internet fans are more than a little bitter about the fact we get a lot more media attention. Just as Villa do, you hate it........

........But then you come onto to a Newcastle United board to talk about Newcastle United. You just can't help yourselves, can you?

again, fan base argument

you're a 1 club city. you're bound to have higher attendances

i actually love newcastle getting so much attention. it help the rest of the country laugh at you

Liverpool population- 460,000

Newcastle population- 190,000

From 2001 census.

In conclusion I would have to say most deluded club = City, Newcastle in close second. The City fans jumping for joy outside Main Road II at 10pm on a Friday night when they signed Robinho just about clinches it for me.

But Everton and Liverpool are historically far more successful clubs, which, according to some, is all that matters :)

You should be packed out every week old son because you won the FA cup in 1995.

so higher attendances matter more than trophy's won?

how many points do you get for filling your ground?

About as many as you get for winning the FA cup, which you used further back in the thread when you said you were awful in the 90s and yet still won more than us, which is true. By the way, do you lot still send Hans Segers christmas cards?

Also, this bloke's "personal experiences" clearly come from having a Newcastle fan at this prestigious job that's a fucking idiot. That and shite like Talksport and the papers.

Maybe someone should make a "Cliche Bingo" card?

im yet to find the opposite

Ah but you see, you've clearly seen the opposite on this message board. My opinion of an idiot would be someone that steadfastly refuses to change opinion when presented with evidence that disputes it.

Feel free to try and wind us up further though, we've had better than you give it a go.

a trophy is a trophy. id rather win the FA cup than fill our ground with 40 thousand people waving their shoes in the air.

as for your segers comment, the only game he was found guilty of throwing was actually against our lovable neighbours from across the park.

Catchment area?

If you take Tyne and Wear, the population in 2001 was 1,095,200

Merseyside was 1,362,026

So theres the best part of 400,000 more potential supporters in Merseyside than there is in Tyne and Wear and both have 2 Premier League clubs.....and obviously if you add together the monthly attendance figures for eachof the 4 clubs during the season you may well find that the North East footballing public has greater numbers in general than Merseyside despite the disparity between population and relative success of the 4 clubs. Liverpool are one of the worlds great football clubs due to their history but couldnt fill their ground for every game last season. Everton?...the less said the better I think :)
