As shot. No real editing done to this one.

Grain

Couple of images here. The first on I took as a standard image then in Photoshop I converted it to b&w and increased the contrast. The second image I set the ISO as high as it goes (3200 on my camera) for a deliberate grainy effect. I then cropped the image (to loose sky etc) as I only wanted what you see.

The Drink

This was taken in my garden after the rain had settled. Some of the plants retaining water drops. Was taken with my macro lens and I did push up the vibrancy in photoshop to increase the green.

Unjust

I was out driving and I passed this horse. It was in a tiny bit of land covered by tree's and overgrown with nettles etc. It was fenced in and behind it was a large open field. It just didnt seem right to me so this was how I interpreted the shot. It was basically done by waiting until the horse was framed and then focussing on the barbed wire with a large aperture (5.6).

Birds

These were taken at Centreparcs in cumbria. Used my telephoto with ISO 400. Used burst mode for each shot and a fairly large aperture. I ended up with around 300 photo's this day. That was because trying to capture the birds in flight at the right moment etc is tough.

Last one not as sharp as it should have been.

Your macro work is lovely, I really could do with a new lens :scratchchin:

Well, I made a slight error when buying the lens. I needed one with a motor and bought the one without so it is manual focus only. Not that terrible a thing but it can be pretty tough at time to get the images as sharp as Id like. I usually have to take 4-6 shots and change the focus ring a small amount each time.

Some great shots there JawDinho :scratchchin: As Ellie says the macros are really good. I like 'The Drink' especially. The reflection is fantastic. And I love bees, even if they are a bit cliched. Really like the b&w one of the wheat field too. They're all good like.

That 'The Drink' one is brill. Was hoping for some rain to try something similar myself a few days a go, but it probably won't be as good without the macro lens!

Yeah thats the thing with water and eyes. You really need to capture reflection in them. I don't mind saying that the reflection above was pot luck not intended :scratchchin:

Adding a futher macro shot from today. Quite please with this one. I've been quite critical of my macro work and while this one isnt quite pin sharp, its prob my best to date.

It's not too shabby though. Excellent detail on the eye there. Must be a bugger getting them to stand still like :D

Actually, I was surprised how still it stayed given I was like 6" away. Obviously a hard fucker.
