Just been looking on youtube at the IGN E3 2010 live and they were talking to one of the creators and played a demo of the new game and it looks really good. Some of the new enemies look very challenging too. The Beserker is back too!!! but an upgraded one!

It looks absolutely class, hopefully they have sorted out the nagging online problems aswell, like level glitching etc...

ive never been able to get into the gears games, owned the first one but never played it through on my own, played coop campaign once and then I wasnt interested anymore

It's a good game. The campaign is alot more enjoyable when you do co-op

Very true. Horde is also an excellent co-op mode, providing you have 5 mates bored enough to sit through it for hours.

I'm the same. Will probably rent number 3 and see what it's like but I just couldn't see what all the fuss was about with the first 2

It's good when you can find five mates to do it with you lol

Beast mode looks awsome on the new one. Same as horde but you play as locusts but you start as a ticker and earn tokens to work your way up to a better character..even Berserkers.
