Would you have banned him for saying that to anyone else on here? The answer is no, so you shouldn't have done it for him saying it to you.

Get a grip and stop abusing your access to the ban button.

And to further clarify, if a poster chose to approach the admin team about a particular line of posting making them uncomfortable and the individual in question chose to respond to that like Robin, yes there would be consequences.

How has everyone gone on their 2022 goals then?

I'm still working towards the goal weight I set one I stopped being fucking ill, it is definitely taking longer than I had hoped to get there but I am keeping my body fat consistently low as I slowly move up on the scales which is what I want.

I am so much stronger than I was 6 months ago though, really got stuck into my training and kept the intensity up which is more of a mental game than a physical one, being willing to really grind out higher weights and constant improvements.

Everything is better, but my back is fucking class. I would genuinely not believe where I am if I went back to a couple of years ago.

I’ve pretty much maintained my weight of 81/82kg, and bf of 11/12% all year round. Not as much seasonal fluctuation compared to years gone by. I put this mainly down to solid nutrition, no fad diets and better attention on portion control/calorie consumption and  consistency with training.

To clarify, Robin is not banned, he is restricted from posting for a few days.

He had two chances, one you saw, one you didn't.

He opted not to take either.

Eh? What did he say like? Robin is a good lad. Hard to imagine he’s deserves a ban…?

In Andrew’s defence, it was costing nearly £5k every day just to host Robin’s gifs.

In a cost of living crisis he’s a luxury we just can’t afford.

IF he can afford blue-rinse hair dye, he can afford Robin's gifs

(unless he nicked his grans obvs).

Anyway we need @RobinRobinback for the match, or our streak could come off the rails. (That's sorted)

Robin if you could check the little ✉️ on the bottom right of the screen, that's a private message function which I think Andrew wanted to talk you on as he'd taken some offence.

We're not a banning community & don't want to be.

So behave your fucking selves and enjoy the best football for 20 years

Anyway, to answer the question, I didn't set any specific 2022 goals other than to keep doing what I'm doing, but my body feels like a wreck at least 80% of the time and my legs are mostly leaden every time I try and run. So that's delightful. Still, I also did something like my seventh-fastest ever 5k at the start of November, so fuck knows. It's basically random, I never know how it's going to be on any given day. Anyway, my weight's creeping up and I suspect it all means I'm entering the inevitable decline phase and will just have to embrace the dadbod (this is not a niche porn preference).

I sense (even) more hill walking in my future...

Im pushing forty and miraculously still maintaining the same 11 stone (~70kg) weight from my late teens. I put this down to a steady diet of roll-up ups, coffee, Guinness and Whisky (largely supplemented by the stress of having four kids and rarely getting a chance to actually finish and enjoy a meal).

I’ve lost 2 stone in 3 months, I’m about six foot and fatter than I should I be.

That's pretty impressive. I've always had the opposite problem. Honestly don't mean that as a humble brag, I'm slim but in no way am I fit and healthy. I've long given up trying to gain weight, it just doesn't happen, maintaining this is hard enough. Ruled everything out from tapeworms to eating disorders, gp concluded "you must just burn it all off in nervous energy or you're more physically active that you're telling me. Get your cholesterol under control though or you'll be a young heart attack"
