It is believed Pardew is close friends with Newcastle owner Mike Ashley and director Derek Llambias when all three were familiar faces at an exclusive London casino where Llambias was managing director.

Absolutely unbelievable if he gets the job.

Not really, I'd have snapped their hand off for Pardew when JFK was put in charge!

Newcastle have a fair few 'lads' in the team who need a bit of guidance and what not, someone to look up to.

So you have to wonder why they have gone for Pardew. An interesting chap no doubt about that

Obviously lent Ash a monkey one day when he forgot his wallet.

Keep going as we are and it'll be offered as part of the croupier of the month scheme.

Because he frequents Lambias’ casino and is mates with both him and Ashley, understands the BBC.

I know many will disagree but if it comes out that Pardew was party to the sacking of Hughton we should give him dog’s abuse. I don’t care if it upsets the team and we end up getting relegated again. We are being made to look like the stupidest mugs in the country and the sooner we stop being a bunch of patsies the sooner both we and the club will get back our self respect. Our commitment to NUFC is being used against us. High time we realised short term pain will result in long term gain and stopped being so weak.

Spot on.

Given how easily Ashley was influenced by idiots like Wise and Jiminez, it wouldn't surprise me.

Btw - the club went on a murder mystery away day during pre-season, for team bonding and all of that.

It was down Landan, on the orders of Dekka, and for some reason he brought Alan Pardew along with him. :drinks:

Pardew can fuck off like. I literally wont go back till things change.

I'll protest but I literally feel sick. This is a man who got sacked from a league one club - who used to turn up pissed at training.

I would seriously rather have Gazza - at least we can laugh along.

''More experience'' - NUFC BOARD.

That's one for the scrapbook Happy Face.

Whichever way you look at it, it makes absolutely no sense to appoint Pardew. He's achieved next to nothing as a manager, and nothing suggests he has the wherewithal to manage NUFC, or indeed has any potential to succeed.
