Your Favourite Flop?

I tell you who was shite but I used to like Lua Lua. He was shit for the toon in terms of product, but when he came on you didn't know what he was going to do, and neither did he, anything could happen. Leverkusen away in the CL was his best game, him and Shola were like Lineker and Beardsley that neet.

That time he was shipped out on loan to Portsmouth and we didn't bother to put in the clause that meant he couldn't play against us...nailed on to score and he did. Still grates to this day thinking about it.

Celebrated like a cunt too.

tino asprilla.

great player ( hat trick vs barca) on occasion, but the other players didn't get the best out of him. could have cost us the title as well.

Good shout.

I'd baulk at calling him a flop, bit the bolded bit- definitely.

Diego Gavilan

Both excellent players imo.

I'd agree on the former but I fail to see what Gavilan ever did to demonstrate he was an excellent player.

Definitely Luque, had him on the back of my away (two tone green stripes anybody?) shirt that year too!

I considered getting Luque due to the similarity of our names (luqueluke ?!) but decided against it.

Got N'Zogbia instead. It was a while before he left at least, but still feel a bit of a prat wearing it now. :(

I just think that he always looked a neat and tidy player.

I always liked the look of Darren Ambrose aswell.

Neat and tidy is fair enough, excellent isn't :icon_lol:

I think he only made about half a dozen subs appearances.

Was he your mate or something? I mean you can understand why people thought Luque/Owen would be a hit, but...Ramage? :icon_lol:

Nah I just didn't like getting good players on my shirt because they'd either turn out to be shit or theyd fuck off. Also got a Huntington 54 shirt and Sibierski 20.
