He got lucky full stop. Ravaged by injuries ffs

We`ve had 2-3 first teamers out, thats standard procedure for every club in the division.

Look, whatever degree of blame you wish ( or not) to lay upon Pardew, with the managerial role follows an objective culpability regardless of specific factors.

This board seems divided in the fact that some assess blame to pardew for failing to play well and getting results this year ( Me, Aeris, CT)

The other lot point at alot of different things culminating in our rotten form, including a tight board. Fair enough.

Bottom line, it doesnt really matter.

Your team is doing shit? Tough luck, you are responsible.

They say you can judge someone by the company they keep :unsure2:

Look, you need to take off your black and white glasses for a second and think.

Look at this from the outside. Look at the quality of our first teamers, packed full of stars who would be instant key men in their respective squads if they went somewhere else.

The results this fall, the way we are playing, the individual performances.

We would be laughing our asses off if we were fans of other clubs looking at this mess.

Look, last years wonderseason is over. Its back to reality, and reality is staring us in the eyes and telling us we are relegation candidates.

Any turnaround begins with firing our manager.

I was just the opposite on Saturday, Williamson, Simpson, Perch and Jonas are championship players. Nearly half the outfield are very average. HBA and Ba are amazing, after that Cabaye is great but Tiote, Cisse, Santon and even Colo have been off form.

No, Williamson, Simpson, Perch and Jonas are not championship quality players. They are not good but you find dozens of similarily dross players in the other teams in this division.

And when everyone is off form, that is ultimately also the responsibility of the manager.

Or do you disagree?

I wonder if there are any top managers out there who are available, better than Pardew and willing to come and earn about the same as Nile Ranger's on.

So the last barricade of defence is "noone else wants to come here".

Wearing thin,the excuses are.

I

Average over acheiveing squad last season

Lack of investment in the summer

Players heads being turned by other clubs/their own agents

Injuries out of all propotion compared with last season

Suspensions

Small squad struggling with the Europa League

I'll grant you Pardew is responsible for the last one as he got us to 5th last season ;)

No. I realise English isn't your first language but you're either struggling with basic comprehension or attributing non-existent views to other people. But to play you at your own game, are you suggesting the salary on offer and the working transfer budget constraints wouldn't have an effect on the type of candidate we could attract to take over as manager?

You want to challenge Spurs for 4th/5th? They're currently missing big first teamers like Adebayor, Bale, Dawson, Ekotto and Kaboul. Probably bigger misses than us. But look at how strong their bench was on Saturday...

24 Friedel - Full international

33 Caulker - Full International

06 Huddlestone - Full International

08 Parker - Full International

22 Sigurdsson - Full International

29 Livermore - Full International

31 Townsend - U21 International

Who did we have again?

21 Elliot - got some games at Accrington Stanley

31 Ferguson - Full International

34 Tavernier - got some games for Milton Keynes Dons

20 Bigirimana - Coventry legend

22 Marveaux - U21 international

23 Sh Ameobi - Papa Nigeria

28 Sa Ameobi - 2 U21 games

Saying we have the same problems with squad depth that our competitors do is demonstrably arse talk.

None of which excuse a relegation scrap

No, but our squad doesnt excuse less than a top-8 finish. Which we are miles off atm. Too far to be ignored.

See, there's your problem. You cant tell a decent player when you see one and if you dont realise the first 11 is stocked with below par players then no wonder you cant see where the problem is.

These types might appear as fill, and when you only have to play one at the time, but never as serious regulars. Wigan, Reading, Mackems and teams like that would might use them as rotation players but they are always gonna be in the relegation zone because of it.

They are shit players out of form, that makes them twice as shit, multiply that with our managers lack of ability to create the best style of play possible, and we could easily replace them with 4 "bæsj and carry's" full of shit.
