Singapore U15 defeats Newcastle United FC in the opening game of the 23rd Canon Lion City Cup.

Singapore U15 kicked off the 23rd Canon Lion City Cup with a thrilling come back win. Trailing 2-1 at half time, the host team fell further behind with a break away goal against the run of play (3-1). However, with barely 4-mins of regular time and 5-mins of injury time, the Cubs produced a sterling display to score 3-unanswered goals to beat Newcastle United FC team (3-4) which looked to be victims of fatigue.

Not sure, it could have been yesterday.

Seems they are replaying all the highlights (lowlights for the NUFC players tbh) before today's matches.

Exactly, at this stage its all about getting a little bit of experience behind them.

 

They are school laddies on a trip half way over the world! I feel tiredness may have crept in for this one.

They are playing Juventus live on Eurosport 2 now 13.35, my mates son is with them

 

Wondered if that's who Ben Smith was, thought he played for the mackems!
