Photos of visit to York

Had a weekend in York with the girlfriend and took camera along. Wasn't really bothered about the settings i used as i couldn't be arsed to fiddle around with it, so i just left it on my regular settings. One thing that really bothered me was a funeral car pulled up to the minster and this chinese tourist just jumped in front of the funeral car, with the coffin/body inside to get her photo taken next to it. Quite disrespectful i'd say.

 

Anyway, was a decent weekend, train fares were cheap, and the hotels are cheap only if you book in advance. Wasn't able to get full shots of the minster as there was to many people around and what not.

Cracking city like York. In the photography sense (honest ) 3rd last pipc is my fave.

Love York, remember coming home via there on the Blackburn away trip in February, few hours to spare till the next train to Doncaster so was just walking about, looks even better at night than the day like!

Lovely place, but I couldn't believe they had this round about in the city centre for kids. Fancy spoiling such a wonderful city with the word Sunderland polluting it. We went on a ghost tour. Never saw one ghost.
