If the rioting keeps going most games if not all will be called off,they will need plod for more pressing issues

 

Can't see that happening for games on the other side of the country. Will stuff up their television deals and having to reschedule a full round so early in the season will be a nightmare - unless they whack it in the Sept 3rd FA Cup break.

The Toon boss has also indicated that squad player Alan Smith will be fit to be in the squad for Arsenal.

 

He said: “Smudger had a little knock on Friday and, rather than sit him on the bench, I wanted to see a few of the younger ones. He’ll be fit.”
