I was as guilty as the next man for scoffing at twitter (Twatter etc.) when it was starting up, but it's bloody good when shit like this is going down. I hardly watched any of it on the news channels where the same pieces of video are recycled interminably for 24 hours a day.

Me too, best website on the internet by a mile if you sort through the many mugs and add the right people.

I very rarely even use the website tbh, browser add-ons and apps all the way.

Do you use chrome? Mostly use the phone app, but looking for an extension to use on the PC.

It's strange, I find twitter to be a garbled mess. I wish I could join, but I guess my brain isn't wired that way /:lol:

From the BBC

1417: Tory MP Mark Pawsey calls for help for owners of damaged vehicles who only have third-party insurance. Mr Cameron replies that uninsured businesses affected by the riots are getting help.

I don't agree with this at all. If they had 3PF&T then surely they're covered. If they '3rd party only' cover then surely this is a financial decision they made and they should deal with the consequences?

I doubt criminal damage is covered under 3PF&T. Inclined to agree with you about the 3rd party point though-you take a pretty obvious risk when you go with the absolute scantest form of insurance cover.

Easy for you to say with your company car mind.

Fella at work reckons that under the 'riot act' any costs for damage incurred should be footed by the police.

It will be.

Aye but I think the Police are insured for it, not sure if its from their budget?

Wegen Moslems, die uns in unserem eigenen Land vorschreiben, was wir zu machen haben. Toetet Sie alle!

What the fuck have Muslims got to do with this?

And why should we kill them all?

Warum nicht?

Some old fella from Ealing has died. Tried to stamp out a fire, and the dickheads that started it beat him to death.

Watch the BBC news today btw. There's an interview with a volunteer police officer called David Long. Fuck me, is he camp. "My town is under ATTACK!"

can't be bothered to read 67 pages....but I expect the usual culprits are blaming a lack of understanding social workers, leftie teachers, not enough multiculturism, not enough holidays for immigrants, and refusal of benefits to asylum seekers for all of this.

 This is why you deserve mockery. You don't care about other peoples opinions, you just make them up on their behalf.

the usual crap from you :icon_lol:

Why do YOU think this is all happening [just the start IMO]...because, like the last riots, it will happen again - and more frequently too
