There are some proper knackers on here like. If you can't enjoy this win by your borrowed team, you'll never enjoy anything your borrowed team ever achieves, so why not just fuck off, eh?

Spot on.

Think it will be a good game. Just hoping there's no silly reffing and we give a good account. Ba will score. If we can hold it together and keep the ball a bit there is a chance.

:ninja:

Basically our CM completely bossed them with a vengence and Ba finishes like a god.

Stop posting sense and answer your fucking text messages, you massive bastard!

oh and to anybody out there being depressing and negative tonight I say this: Drive yourself off a cliff, won't you please.

Isn't Norway the suicide capital of the world? If LBT is indicative of the gen pop, I can see why. Unless of course, it's just that they can't get rid of him and choose to end it rather than listen to him drone on.

Also FYP (creatively).

Fanstastic night in many ways and even Red nose was gracious enough to give credit where it was due. The team looked like it wanted to set a few records straight and put an end to the slide. To do it against ManU full strenght side was the icing on the cake.

Oh, that was you? You on a new number like?

Course it was me, it wasn't Matt and given we're the only two people who like you, who else could it have been?

Honestly!

also, that's very creative. Well done you.

Only thing redder than his nose was Demba's STRAWBERRY FUCKING SYRUP!

As relentless as the Tyneside rain, Newcastle were superb, from Tim Krul in goal to Cheik Tioté and Yohan Cabaye in midfield and, in attack, Demba Ba, their increasingly extraordinary free-transfer signing. This was a performance brimming with energy, tenacity, spirit and, where it mattered, a liberal sprinkling of class, shown in the quality of the goals scored by Ba and Cabaye

This was not one of those occasions when a team have to ride their luck to beat one of the Premier League’s heavyweights. Newcastle were simply the better side..

In Krul, they had a goalkeeper who exuded assurance and confidence. In Ba and Shola Ameobi, they had two bustling centre forwards who made life extremely unpleasant for Jones and Rio Ferdinand. And in Cabaye and Tioté, they had a central-midfield partnership offering the perfect blend of silk and steel.

Cabaye is a highly elegant performer, but how Ferguson must wish he had a player such as Tioté, who set the tempo for Newcastle from the very start, covering the ground between both penalty areas with intensity and ferocity. He presses, he breaks up play and he uses the ball intelligently, leaving the more creative stuff to Cabaye.

Their feathers were ruffled not only by Ba and Ameobi but by the general sense that they were facing a team who were fitter, hungrier and, on the night, considerably better.
