Dissertation about NUFC fans

Hi forum users

 

I am a third year student currently researching a sociology dissertation at Newcastle University. For this dissertation, I plan on investigating the role which supporting Newcastle United plays in the lives of the fans and the wider community. To do this, I hope to interview local Geordies from different backgrounds to try catalogue their experiences of following N.U.F.C.

 

The interviews will consist of around 30 questions (some short, some longer) and I estimate them to take around 30-45 minutes – almost certainly no longer than an hour. The time and location of these interviews would be completely flexible around you, and I hope to have them completed by the middle of February. All information given during the interviews would be anonymous and treated with respect.
