QPR_Fan1882 0 Posted February 24, 2012 Share Posted February 24, 2012 Hey Guys I am not sure if this is the right place to post this message but my Grandad who bled Black and White passed away this afternoon of Liver Cancer aged 72. (Never Smoked) My Grandad was proud of his Geordie routes and although he settled and married in London. He never once forgot about Newcastle United it gave him great pride to see the team picking up in the league and fighting for a place in Europe. He was a fan of the club for over 60 years and never stopped talking to me about the great Jackie Milburn who was my Grandad's idol throughout his young years of being a Newcastle fan. I wish you all the best for the rest of the season and even more in the short term hoping you beat Wolverhampton Wanderers as my Grandad would of loved to have seen the boys win.
