So it looks like "the Don" has kept Ross on board for the past few weeks as a fallback if the takeover fell through. Basically, he was kept around so that he could be sacked the moment the shit hit the fan in the notion that it might go some way to placating the fanbase.

Fucking ouch  Basket case of a club.

He's not confirming the takeover is off, but he's hardly going to sack the manager if it's imminent

It's off according to various sources :icon_lol:

What a calamitous club they really are. A couple of weeks ago a mackem mate was giving it the biggin' saying Dell boy was buying them and they'll be back amongst the elite very soon. I asked him about the Grimsby game this morning and he didn't want anything more to do with the club :icon_lol: Fickle fuckers.

Seen they've a thread about top 5 realistic appointments.

Names include, but are not limited to; Allardyce, Hughton, Sean "7th in the Premier League" Dyche, Roy Keane, Sewpa Kev, Arteta!

I particularly enjoyed

If by that you are insinuating that because of recent fan unrest, the desire of some of us for the club to be relegated etc., that us Newcastle fans are as fickle as the fuckwits down the road, howay man. Most of us have tolerated (just) Ashley’s ownership of our club for 12 years, 12 fucking years. Yet we are fickle?? Do you even know what the word fickle means?

Our radgy friends are up and down like a fiddlers elbow, depending on which way the wind is blowing, or what day of the fucking week it is.

FFs man get a grip you mackem apologist.

After which they'll sack him because he's obviously not good enough to get them a top 4 spot.

Winning a derby gives a makem manager legendary status and a bit more time,no matter how many divisions they are below us.Wearside Jack never had an opportunity to win a derby so time ran out. They'd love to have Ratboy as their manager. If he did get the job he wouldn't be accepted by every makem. His final 18 months as a player is remembered by many on RTG as a period where he basically fucked about not giving a toss.

The favourite for the job is Wycombe's manager. The same Wycombe who finished 3pts above the relegation places in league one last season.

I appreciate Wycombe are a smaller club, but it doesn't exactly bode well for a team expecting automatic promotion

One of the MLF on ready to groom was on about David Wagner and how he’s had a two year break from football and would be desperate to join them.

He hasn’t had a two year break from football and he’s the schalke 04 manager but yeh sure.

Was he not going on about that weirdo from one of Cowell's monstrosity programmes, instead?
